Anyone who can look at this print and not want to do something like it… well I suppose they deserve admiration for resolve...

I think these books are some of the ones referenced above. It is worth looking through the rest of the range as there is a lot of interest for any enthusiast of Spanish military history - especially on the WSS and even one on the eponymous war of Jenkins' Ear!

You can order them in safety from this site

http://www.atlanticajuegos.com/

It is almost worth a visit to Madrid just to visit this shop - it is a wargamer's paradise, a real Ali Baba's Cave of goodies (the last time I was there I had to have part of the loot shipped home - there was no way any airline was going to let me on board with all that excess baggage! Not only that but they are lovely, helpful people!

If you don't fancy that option you should be able to get the books through Iberlibros -the Spanish incarnation of ABE Books…

The last book I have not seen but I shall rectify that asap.. it features the art of Spain's leading military artist and is smack on topic!

Yuber Okami, I did not know about the Spanish getting that far north!  Thanks for sharing.

Oh, well:

Yep, the top one is the one that I was referring to. Osprey-ish format in Spanish.

Now to find the bloody thing. My wife has a mania for moving the bookshelves.  :(

I have the "Guerreros y Batallas" series books on Pensacola and the siege of Gibraltar and they are indeed very, very useful titles.

Apparently this book has become difficult find - but otherwise it ticks all the boxes. The Spanish versions I believe are easier to find.

Just received my copy of Gálvez and Spain in the American Revolution  from ABE books (thanks for the tip chokidar  :)) for £20 which included postage from Spain. Looking forward to reading about this different area of the AWI.

When you get to learn that the Ottoman Empire raided Terranova you end up realizing anything is possible  lol

My pleasure - thanks for mentioning it! If I come across anything else in English I shall happily post it here!
