Uh huh.  It'll all come out in the proverbial wash.  Just be careful not to bite the hand that feeds you... 8)

Very good AAR.

I look forward to the next game/report.

However, we did have cake!
Reminds me of the end scene from episodes of Danger 5.

Yesterday, I was sent shopping (OMG).
Whilst in the local supermarket, I had a stroll down the toy isle, as I was sure I’d seen someone say, that the supermarket in question stocked some useful civilian vehicles for future games.
They were right.
Looks like I’ll have to build a bus depot now….

Useful for 20mm games, but a little small for 28mm games I think.

As well as the supermarket, I popped into the charity shop.
Guess what ?
An odd collection of different scaled vehicles, all at £4 each.
Well, they will be lining the streets of my town too.

And finally, from the same charity shop, a couple of modernish ambulances.
Cheep as chips, but after a touch of stain and paint, I’m sure they will be hitting the streets.

Looking at expanding this into African countries as well as the Middle East.
Fancied some cheap African generic buildings.
Got some cheap MDF buildings from eBay.
As they came with an MDF roof, I added plastic corrugated sheet instead.
First one was a bit boring.

I progressed with modifying the rooftops.

Ongoing houses.

After posting on FB, I had a good comment come in, that they use old tyres and rocks, to keep the corrugated sheeting from blowing away.
So these have now been added.
I’m happy they are now finished.

Lovely work there Bob. 20 or 28mm?
Either way I look forward to playing in a game with them.

Pete
28mm buildings (as they don’t do 20mm), but the intention is to use them with my 20mm African figures.
The 20mm figures are based on pennies, so that makes them a little taller anyway.

Nice work on those buildings.

The rocks and tyres make the roofs more interesting.

Depending on you period, bin bags and mattresses are also an option.

If you were to base them on Kruger-Rands they would go up in my estimation. lol lol lol
