Strangely I don't remember the elephant!

We never mention the elephant in the room.

Yes I (we?) would do it differently if playing it again, but isn't that true of
all of our (the great unwashed horde) wargames.

Digits, with half my team dead, I was happy to conserve ammo & keep picking
off your team. Had there been a mad charge towards the compound I most
definitely would have gone fully automatic on you.

I can't speak for Flatpack, but you had an invite to my place
years ago, when I got my (only) invite to Chateaux Empress.

Just noticed the question about the buildings.
The wrought iron fence is from TTCombat, along with the security box, barrier, and portacabin.
About 50% of the buildings are Blotz (you will recognise them as they have narrow steps up the sides). I then added a thin layer of polyfiller to the outside walls, to add the texture. A dark coat of chocolate brown paint and two different coats of lighter paint and they are done.
There are also “compounds” that started life as 20mm separate resin buildings that we used for invasion of Lebanon games in the past, but then has.been applied his magic, and turned them into compounds for Afghanistan games.
The large square ambassadors building is new from Sarrisa in their Tobruk range.
The rectangular ambassador’s building, is from my very own imagination, using cork tiles.
The ambassador’s walls are made very simply from cork tiles. These are great, as you can add doors and windows, and have walls as long as you want.
Hope this helps.
