Fab work Too Bo Coo Have you got a link to or any info on how you did the shield please? It's superb!
It was nothing more than a very thin layer of greenstuff, a small screwdriver head to make the stitches and then cutting up the parts. For the face and hand, i used plastic zombie parts and really shaved them down to give a more boneless look. Does that help?
This was my first try. The zombie bits were not sanded low enough so I popped them off and sanded them more. Then I used about half this amount of GS. Tried to make it smother before I cut in stitches and lines. <img src="https://i.imgur.com/asAJSeB.jpg" title="source: imgur.com" />
Since it is supposed to be fairly fresh kill i painted it up like regular skin snd gave it two screens of green,
I like these very much ,cracking work
I have been playing the Scots board, too, lately. I'm using it for the Pictish armies of the Viking age. They are VERY tough. The strength of your army is definitely your Warriors armed with "long spears"...though it obviously doesn't matter. And don't discount the potential of the "Reach" battle board ability. I like to envision it as the formation moving forward, jabbing with their spears, then moving back. Mike Demana
