CLAYMORE CASTINGS/FRONT RANK HYW
« on: February 17, 2020, 09:09:11 PM »
How do these measure up against each other?
I have ordered some Front Rank but have been tempted by Claymore Castings, anyone got both of these ranges.

I'd go Claymore all in. Matthew Bickley's sculpts are the most dynamic I have seen for the HYW. There are rumours of mounted men at arms appearing at some point soon.

Don't get me wrong, Front Rank are good. They just lack the sense of movement, dare I say violence(!) that Matthew captures.

I don't think they would mix all that well purely for the reasons I've outlined above Steve. Maybe go  separate mounted and foot units if you use both?

Front rank are chunckier and a bit taller. Claymore castings would look a bit too slender next to them.
