Be aware, though, that Roden, while being excellent kits, can be a bit complicated and possibly not robust enough as game pieces.

Amodel kits are more robust but often have a short-run quality. That may actually work in your favour, though.

The Revell and Airfix WW1 kits mostly are a couple of decades old by now (1970s vintage), but quite robust and good as gaming pieces. They don't have the more exotic Russian models, though.

Are you interested in the Volga front of the RCW?
There are interesting options for painting aircraft on the Soviet army and on the troops of the People’s Army. In addition, I know the types of aircraft that used both sides.

Pay attention to the black stars! The Bolshevik armies on the eastern front included many anarchists, including in the flight units.

Captured German airplane in the service of the People's Army Komuch. The army identification mark is placed on the feather of the rudder - vertical stripes of flowers of the St. George ribbon (black-orange)

Those are great plates Cuprum - I can't help feeling that calling it a Sopwith страттер would roll off the tongue better though!
