Funny but I just dug these out of my garage (along with some Taliban) but to me, these Force Recon from Eureka look exactly like the fellas sent in by Jack Ryan in the film.

Those Eureka minis are excellent and would fit Clear and Present Danger perfectly.

The Eureka figures can be converted to back date them but I’d also look at the Studio Miniatures/ Minifigs not Predator line. They come with a couple of figures wielding MP-5s.

See also TAG’s line of mercenaries and their Vietnam range special forces.

What kind of size are they? I know Eureka can vary range to range, are they on the small size?

Standing alongside the few spectre operatives I bought, they are comparable enough.  Perhaps a millimetre or so smaller but well within normal figure height variance me thinks.

Btw if you want to know,  Raymond Cruz who plays Ding Chavez is only 5’7” so these would be ok!  ;)

What rules would you be using and a scenario from a source or home made?

Probably from the book where they are gathered together by Clark and attack the bad guys villa.Don’t know where I’ll get a 1/48 HH-53 from though.Rules wise Black Ops or even Necromunda with a few rule tweaks.

Academy MRC makes a 1/48 MH-53E and Revel makes a 1/48 CH-53GA and an HH-53C. If you can't live with the differences you could modify or probably search for other partial kits of modification parts. At least you have the right size to start with.

Just did a quick search and found a few modeling sites which had builds including what parts they used. Good luck.
