I too bought the same two packs of SAS as Pete, at Hammerhead yesterday.
I also bought packs 1,2 and 3 of the insurgents.
I was able to also get a Hummer and a station wagon, all in 28mm.

I’m sure we can get all the stuff together in a months time for a game.

Spoken to Ian an he is happy to run Spectre again.

A month?!!!

I don’t think I paint as quickly as you guys! Lol

Ok, I can do some buildings and scenery but I may struggle with figures.

Petrol station looks ok.  That or something a little more modern looking, but I like the concept.

Thanks Bob for the picture. As JC says, 'A good starter for ten'
I haven't started looking for useful bits yet, though I have
cleaned up, & glued to bases, my Empress SAS and the Britania
Plantation owner's family.  Unfortunately not an RPG between them!

Talking of which...,does anyone know if I can get hold of Special Artizan Service Miniatures in the UK?

On a slightly less fun note....I think I have Corvid 19.  Tight chest, cough, headaches and bit of a temperature.   I hope it doesn’t get worse than this.  If it is,  and it’s bloody stupid that I can’t get tested to confirm it unless I’m at deaths door, then at least I’ve got it out of the way early....

Don't worry you can't die you have too much to paint yet  ;)
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

Let’s hope what they say about war gamers is true then!  If it is....I will live to at least 110 touch wood!

Keep us updated. I wish you well, & if it is Corvid 19 lets hope yours is a mild case.

Thanks Peter.  I was feeling upbeat earlier but it seems to come in waves.  I’m trying to occupy my mind and I have at least got the four Blotz ready for painting.

I’ve also based and primed a dozen insurgents but they will wait.  For now, my temp is back up and head is pounding....back to bed I think.
