Maya miniatures?
« on: April 26, 2020, 12:35:55 PM »
I was considering to buy some maya miniatures. The Gringo40s have some really nice maya, but I read somewhere that their miniatures are usually bigger than most other manufacturers.
The Outpost wargame have a nice range of maya miniatures too, but they seem quite squat, somebody have comparison size pictures of them? There are other manufacturers that offer nice maya miniatures? Thanks.

Paymaster Games makes some Maya subjects. I have some of their figures (not the Mayas) and I'd call them about 'standard' 28mm size. I can't speak for their compatibility with other lines.

I know it, some nice miniatures, especially characters, but I was looking for common warriors and if possible from a UK/Europe manufacturer.

Not a UK/European supplier, but Eureka miniatures has quite a good line of Maya. Rather strangely, they were never officially released (supposedly Nic was unhappy with how they cast up), but if you write and ask nicely he might be willing to send some off to you. He's done so for quite a few people, myself included, and they are very nice sculpts.

Here’s a comparison.  Gringo40 on the left, Outpost on the right.
