I am thinking that with a sodding great turban and a few minor tweaks ("excuse me my tweaks are aching today") the chap with the book could make a rather splendid Ottoman sage (or onion) - possibly a master gunner for example - now what could I do with the chap in the night shirt?
This is a great hobby!

Lovely set of figures that will be joining the ranks of the Army here at YG.

Any chance of giving the Imperial, Habsburg army a similar command treatment for the "Dutch Revolt,"  or perhaps Lepanto ?  Figures of Don Fernando de Toledo 3rd Duke of Alba, perhaps Don Juan of Austria at Lepanto,  (Allows for some interesting character figures too - imagine Cervantes and Ignatius Loyola at Lepanto).

Gorgeous figures, I’m going to find a way to include them in my 1544 project.

Order incoming ASAP Pete- just trying to work out how many early Landsknechts I need first.

Talking of Landsknechts, will you be producing any with Doppelhänder?

Errr... there's are two, one in each command group...

We won't make a 'unit' of them, as by this period they were pretty much just for colour parties and ceremonial purposes.

Pete, if you get REN370 character pack (the two mounted d'Este figures) what horse(s) do you recommend ordering to go with them?  I assume they don't automatically come with mounts.

Yup, horses supplied as standard.
 8)

As for Early Landsknechts with double handers, I’m not sure...
Can say I remember any images of them... and dopplesolners (spelling) we’re mostly halberds as far as I recall, but as we’re not finish with early Imperial just yet, I suppose we could have a look at them...

To be honest I don't know the answer either. I'm have to start re-reading and see if I can find some sort of reference for a date. Oh boy...... :)

Very nice figures indeed. Are these from the same "time period" as their Tudor English and Valois French?
