Thank you very much guys!!! ;)
Little changes to pediment B and the new pediment A, representing Zeus as Lord of Cosmic Order. So while He is striking with a lightning Typhon, behind him titans Prometeus and Atlas are suffering their punishments.

P.S. the pediments will be printed when I'll have access again to the printer, since I've not it at home...

This is by far one of my favorite threads.  Impressive work.

Perhaps I should give my old unfinished Jasón and the Argonauts project another try.

That temple is very jolly.
The laws of probability do not apply to my dice in wargames or to my finesses in bridge.

About half spartan army is done: the 9 hoplites (that I modified adding leather straps as in "300"), the seer, 6 periokoi and 3 helots.
Now some reflections... Mortal Gods is a funny game with a strong historical flavour, but with some mistakes. In comparison Clash of Spears is much more realistic (a part the shame of the possibility of using pikes), but more complex (I'll play with my wife) and with more minis needed. So I choose the first.

Normally I'm a fanatic of historical accuracy (as much as possible), but with Spartans I made a different and aware choice. I wanted an army based on the movie "300".
So, I could never thank enough Dave of Museum Miniatures, I had firstly my accurate Hollywood hoplites and a part from the Xyson seer other minis will be all MM.
(The Lambda on shield appeared probably during the Peloponnesian War).
In Mortal Gods there are 3 level of spartan hoplites: light, heavy and krypteia. Since I'll use the same kind for all, (because in the movie are all similar and almost naked except cloack and pants: no armours for Spartans!!!) I'll differentiate them by using little coloured counters > different levels of trainig.
In the Game otherwise there are some historical mistakes:
-members of krypteia didn't go in battle as such, but were involved in secret mission mainly having the purpose of creating a kind of state of terror in the subject neighbours of the Spartans. So probably they didn't were armours...
-the differentiation of light and heavy hoplites is a real fact, but in different times. At the beginning of the Vth century all Spartans are heavy, but during the Peloponnesian war lost their armours and adopted pilos helmets for more mobility. So to be historically accurate you'll need at least 2 different spartan armies...

Regarding not-Spartiates soldiers sources spoke clearly about both periokoi and helots in battle. Their actual role and weaponry is widely debated... rear ranks light hoplites, light infantry, not-combatant... Nothing sure!

In Mortal Gods periokoi are like psiloi with javelins, while helots have swords and clubs. So I do, but my models have the shield too.
Then to create a "300" uniformity I used the blood red of Spartiates cloacks for perioikoi shields with a black Lambda, the opposite for helots.

As said in reply #34, today has arrived a BIG order useful for mythic expansion....
for only 1.99 $  lol but much more of shipping....
 From Eagle-Gryphon Games  https://www.eaglegames.net/category-s/34.htm
A sprue of many (20mm theoretically) minis for age of mythology board game.

I'll surely use the hydra, cyclops, Gorgon with bow. I could use centaurs with bow too, cavalry that is sized like xyston, Minotaur (but I have already it). While not mini chimairas and infantry that is true 20mm, except Herakles which big height seems reasonable to me....

I discovered those minis here:

I've finally finished my Spartan Lochos. All minis are Museum Miniatures except for the Xyston mantis/seer.

I made some modifications to some characters:
Not to Leonidas....
Added pants to other general and changed head (transverse crest helmet) and arm position to a normal hoplite to make another one...

more significant changes with iatros/medic and musician. I picked up a baggage train follower and with a super fine line of green stuff made of his rod an Asklepios one.
More work on the naked musician...
