Swedish colours and Uniforms
« on: July 23, 2009, 07:31:09 PM »
Hi!
For those who are interested, I have started to post my drawings of Swedish colours and uniforms for the period of 1788 to 1809.

It's not complete yet but I'm adding more pics as I draw them.

www.swordandsabre.com and go to "Free stuff"

Cheers/Lars

Quite a lot of things going on about that period in Sweden currently since there is a jubilee, of sorts, going on. 1809 was the year Finland, after 600 years as the eastern part of the Kingdom of Sweden, became a Russian Duchy. Oh, woe! Oh well, we got to trample the Norwegians under our iron shod boots shortly there after, so there's some consolation in that. ... Perhaps it was more like tiptoeing gently in moccasins.

Not my cup of tea, however. I am more of a TYW kinda guy.
