Now that I have painted two forces for Anno Domini 1666, it's time to paint stuff I've actually planned to paint.

I'm going to play Outremer: Faith and Blood until my collection of painted miniatures is big enough for Lion Rampant.

Renouart le Fevre (fictional) my band leader and his entourage:

And his squire Wymon Fitzgibbon (fictional) with his aides:

More to come.

Thank You gentlemen!

Here is another one.  Hugues II de Bar.

I haven't painted 28mm horses (clothed or not) in ages. Also freehanding anything is a think that I need to learn once again. I can't remember when I last did something like this.

Very nicely done.  ;)

I am also enjoying or feeling the pain of freehand heraldry at the moment.  lol

I like those (apart from the guilty feeling I’m getting from not touching mine). And feel your pain on freehand heraldry, I’d rather paint tartan :)

Thanks once again.

This stuff partically paints up itself. I knew the moment I saw the Kickstarter, that I want to paint these miniatures.

So here is one more: Guy de Blois and his retinue.

Mounted version of Guy is next in line on the table.

I couldn't end it here. I had to paint Guy de Blois on his horse. So here he is.

And both together.

Lovely work again. I like the muted colours on the foot soldiers, it gives a nice grimy feel to the overall effect. :)
