Great job all around. I like them all so much, but most of all I love those astropaths with the shades. I love a Squat psyker and shades make them even better. That and a lady with a buzz-cut. Great stuff.

Astropaths are blind and sometimes have bandages/cloth over their eyes so I thought they needed shades to look a bit cooler .

They look great! If you know the movie characters (and who doesn't?), they can easily be recognized in that lineup. It's the attributes/weapons they carry of course, but also their body language/posing and maybe even a bit of facial features too

Cheers . I have tried to theme them as best as I can with the movie characters... but give them beards and equipment that ties in with their WH40k unit stats. It doesn't always work but there's a bit of a familiar feel to these and I'm happy with that .

The eight of the sculpts have now been sent off for casting so hopefully, they work nicely and are able to be cast .

In other news, my sculpting muse has gone on holiday so I'm back painting again... This is the second infantry squad for the third platoon :



That's the whole unit but only eight need painting because two are already painted. I've finished the base-coat and wash stages now (wash still wet in the following pic) and will start the final highlights later today :



It's nice to be back painting again .
