Great work, both of you!  :-*

And another hard choice to make...

Really impressive to see both entries completed. Ichwillauch's ship is a really impressive centerpiece! Overlord's archeological site looks great too, I like the weathering on the scaffold.

Yes. Very difficult.

Indeed, it's a tough decision.

Both of these are good. The galleon is very unusual (even unique) and very well done, so got my vote.
The archaeological ruins are also very well done.

All of these entries have been very hard to choose between. I’m going to go with the one I think I can learn most from.

This poll may be the most difficult to decide.

The galleons a seriously intricate build. Rigging can be very frustrating modelling job, and rigging in disarray, and to make it believable, is which may lead to insanity. I am very impressed that you managed this within the time allotted in the build phase.

An archaeological site is an old project intention I've had on the back burner for a while. Yours is so very neat and well executed

These are both excellent and so different.
The galleon looks like one of those old master oil paintings of a shipwreck. So full of incredible detail. Love the cannonball embedded in the woodwork. Delightful!
Not quite a ruin, to be fair - more like, somewhat damaged  lol
But a really wonderful piece of modelling work and composition all the same. The churning ocean and all that kitbashing of figures alone are worth the price of entry :) Splendid.

The archaeological site is obviously quite the opposite in terms of visual drama - a peaceful, still scene. But it's so neatly executed and beautifully finished in its understated way, and provides some very versatile and playable wargames scenery.

Tough decision!

There is a list to the ship which is not as visible in these shots as in the build thread. Together with the mast gone overboard and the general disarray and men overboard I think it looks  like it has taken quite a broadside and is about to sink.

Man, I REALLY like a build with a story to tell...

Two great entries! I love the contrast; the desperate, teeming mass of crew on the heaving deck of the stricken ship, verses the quiet and solemn dig site (although Captain Blood makes a good point about the latter's versitity as a gaming scenery - the dig site could also very well be the scene of frantic action if required!). Excellent work both of you!

Fantastic work on both entries.  So completely different it is really hard to compare!  One active and vibrant in it's destruction and despair while the other is quiet scene of times long past.  Wow.

Both are really good, and the contrast between the two is very appealing; the busyness of the ship against the serenity of the dig :)
