Game 4: After struggling across the radioactive wasteland, the survivors arrive at the ruined military base to find it surrounded by a wire fence and guarded by three battered Assaultrons.  Although the Assaultrons are programmed to remain within the confines of the fence, the survivors cannot just pick them off from a distance as they see other robot guardians moving toward them from the front gate of the old compound.  The time limit to get past the Assaultrons and loot the abandoned base is 10 turns.  The "sole survivor" jumps the fence at the corner to lure the Assaultrons out of the building and she barely manages to jump back before the deadly robots converge on her.  The survivors then spend a couple of turns shooting at the Assaultrons to weaken them (one is actually destroyed) before jumping the fence and trying to loot the crates that scatter the ruined building.  The two remaining Assaultrons chase the Scavenger up to the top of the ruins where they finish him off.  While that is happening, the other survivors recover an assault rifle, a mini-gun and a missile launcher and exit the premises.  As a parting gift, the sole survivor takes a last shot at one of the Assaultrons on the upper floor dropping it with a 10mm.  The survivors have lost a comrade but the new heavy weapons will come in handy in the up-coming war against the Super Mutants.

Nice to see people enjoy the AI rules of this game for their solo games, I play the AI rules with 2 friends and also enjoy this as a campaign, there are lots of scenarios written by Modiphious and fans too.

Game 5:  With their newly acquired heavy weapons and a few "volunteers" from the settlement, the survivors make a move to eliminate the Super Mutant threat.  The "sole survivor" dyes her hair, puts on a long coat and picks up a mini-gun while another recently arrived Vault refugee slings the missile launcher.  The super mutants have fortified the ruins of an old stone church.  As the survivors approach the gate, one of the mutants on the wall gets off a couple of lucky shots with his pipe rifle and kills the settler with the hunting rifle who has been in these battles since the first.  With that, the mutants become extremely aggressive and over-confident and all rush toward the action.  The first to charge out is a suicide bomber who is gunned down in a hail of bullets and missile explosions before he can detonate.  One by one, all the other mutants charge through the entrance and meet the same fate.  The mutants get so close that the two Vault survivors throw down their heavy weapons and start blazing away with their pistols which seem to work better at close range.  The last mutant, a huge brute, crushes one of the "volunteers" with his sledge hammer before he too is riddled with 10mm slugs.  While there is no time to loot before a radiation storm engulfs the area, the super mutant base has been neutralized.

A few more pictures of the battle which was entirely fought at the gate of the mutants' fort.

Game 6: The survivors are hardly back home from destroying the super mutant base when their settlement is attacked by a large group of drugged out raiders.  Nora throws down her minigun, mutters something about "over-rated piece of junk" and draws her trusty 10mm pistol.  The raiders assault the settlement's makeshift barricade from two directions.  While those attacking from the south are mostly shot down as they enter the compound, those to the north led by a veteran in rusted power armour are more successful despite taking a couple of rocket blasts.  There is a huge fight at the northern barrier and one of the settlers is beaten to death.  Fortunately, the survivors withdraw and gun down most of the other raiders as they top the fence.  The battle ends with the survivors killing the raider leader in a huge brawl in the middle of the compound.  It's a tough life in the wasteland.

More pics.  Sturges is sort of the mayor of the settlement and featured prominently in the fight both with his .44 and giant wrench.  Another highlight was a rather pathetic looking settler blowing a psycho's head off with his double-barrel.   Note to self: get more rubble and other Fallout-looking terrain like rusty cars.
