OK here's the story.

Evelyn is looking for her brother who hasn't been heard from since he set up his camp is the mysterious unnamed location.

Dagpo is also hot on his trail, Jonathan owns him a lot of money....

I know it's not that developed, but I wanted to play few quick games to learn the rules.

The board

The four minor plot points where placed on the board, the first team to find the first two clues would place the major plot point in either of the stone circles.

Plot point one and two on the coach and in the swamp

three and four between the tents and next to the tree

Follow me says the Curator, I know the way

Lets get moving shouted Dean

The Curator gets to the first PP, but Dean's got hos eye on him

GOT IT!

But they got me....

Then they were dropping like flies

Evie was doing the business her end, but just couldn't cont on the guys...

And then there were two

Despite not picking up the major plot point....

Dagpo came out on top

... the trail leads the two Leagues to Johnathan's Mansion (for game two...)

Plot points by the boxes, in the barn (peril), the well (peril) and by the old generator - major plot point inside when they find the key (random PP)

Evie tells her guys not to let her down this time...

LETS GO!

Dagpo is ready

Your figures are beautifully painted. I have been doing some solo Pulp Alley recently as well.

Dagpo is RJ's work.

And Svennn from here built and painted the mansion for me.

Very nice. Can I ask who makes the bus?  It looks like it really scales well with the minis.  All the best, Joe

The bus was the first of a buy it monthly set in France some years ago.

Part two

The trail led back to Jon's house.

The pre game rolls led to Jon's dog Rex turning up outside the house and reduced visibility. Reduced vis would turn out to be crucial.

Dagpo swept up the first PP

Get off my (brothers's) land

And then it was the bloodbath, well KO-bath.

A plot twist added real drama...
[imghttp://leadadventureforum.com/gallery/44/2859-270320184438-44787836.jpeg]http://[/img]

But it was too little too late for Dagpo, as his ally kept falling over the plot poimt...

A clean sweep for Evie's boys

While Dagpo's man laid low...

The turning point happened before the game, the low vis protected the Curator and allowed him to pick up the first PP and Rex did just enough to harry Dagpo's league....

It's a great game, that plays in about 45 minis solo.

The cards really define the game and make it a lot of fun, and they are so well thought out that they really add to the narrative. It helps when you draw plot twist mid-to end game I guess but it fits even at the beginning, and cards like foul play that are pulled during the low-vis storm allow you to develop the narrative even further...

It's QUICK
It's THEMATIC
It's FUN
It's GREAT

It's a Hordes one I picked up on ebay for about a tenner, 4x4.

You need to place the scenery to cover up the industrial bits and bobs if you don't nat to see them...

Part 3

This time it was solo but my daughter played the bots; She isn't really old enough to use the cards and plan. It worked well ans she one so that made it even better!

The action took place on Evie's family farm - Johnathan had fled he house and Evie gussed he'd head for the farm (and it's bunker...)

Dagpo's network of spies had tracked her and were there waiting to spring a trap....

The PPs:

In the house and the wagon

In the barn and on the boxes.
And, Jon is hiding in the bunker.

The game started badly again for Dagpo, low vis - playing to the strengths of the Curator...

Dagpo and Hans move in

The Curator slides the barn door open

I can see my museum from here!

KO-fest around the bunker

And the Curator sneaks in, and out, with John Boy...

It was a great solo experience (en binôme) and the outcome conformed the power of the CURATOR....

On to part 4 with a Twist in the Tale
As the plot twists, Dapgo has captured Jonathan and is holding him prisoner in his compound....

This is something a little different. Dagpo has home advantage and sets up on the board - he used his gear points to ‘buy’ a rifle for the man in the tower...

Evie's boys start in hiding and are spread around the board.

Inside the compound Dagpo has called in some Tibetan mercs from the local Warlord.

https://leadadventureforum.com/gallery/45/2859-290320184602-45057796.jpeg

The mercs start the game patrolling the perimeter and are the PPs for Evie - one of them has the Key to Jon's cage (oh yeah Jon is in an electrified cage in the compound).

For Dagpo the PPs are the three vehicles and the water feature (Jon escaped and hide a Jade statue in one of these locations).

All of Evie's team start in hiding and must try to subdue the guards without being seen - if they KO the guards and no other models make an observation test they remain in hiding. As soon as they are spotted all hell breaks loose, the mercs have only been there for 2 hours and don't really know who is who so shoot at everyone 12" in front of the model is a perilous zone (they start to move in random directions at the end of the turn and shoot before recovery rolls).

I know this scenario moves away from the tradition ones but it follows the campaign and gives a slight advantage to Dagpo (who has gained 1 Reward compared to Evie's Five).

All the best
