Hope you have a speedy and complete recovery Ray.  If it's Covid hopefully it will remain a mild case.

Thanks Boys!

It's still pretty mild. The main problem appears to be fever. So I've got my fingers crossed.

So yesterday evening had another big fever and my wife called the Center of Salud. I am now classified as "presumptively positive for Covid 19." A lady called me this morning to check up on me. She told me that the first week of fever was the worse, gradually getting worse and then it should fall off and disappear. She warned me that any shortage of breath meant a ticket straight to the Emergency Room. Given that doesn't happen, after the disappearance of the fever (given all goes well) after 14 days I get a high five and can leave guarantee.

Must admit I'm a bit depressed by the whole situation.  :(

Cuidate, Ray. We haven't chatted much over the years, but I'd recognise that profile pic anywhere. Hope you get better soon!

Thanks, buds!

At the moment I have 38.6 and am shaking like a rattle.

It makes taking a piss high drama.  ;)

Wishing you the best Ray! My niece had it bad. Three weeks of pain but she pulled through. You pull through too!

So I had the antibody test performed and it came back negative. Negative can mean 2 things. I don't have COVID-19 or the test was performed before 7 days of catching the little bugger. It takes 7 days for the body to start producing antibodies. The result said that if I tested negative but have symptoms than I should take the for real COVID-19 test. So I guess within the next couple days I will be returning to get tested.

I will tell you one thing, even with "mild" symptoms it kicks my butt. Last night I was coughing so much I could hardly sleep. Hopefully those antibodies will start kicking in soon and give me some relief.

Ray,

Just caught up with this thread.  Great work on the Victory.  Love your attention to detail.

Very sorry to hear about your medical condition.  My thoughts and prayers with you and your family.

I got pneumonia at the start of this Covid thing.  It was horrible.  You might have that.  It is worth checking.

Good luck, Amigo!

Hope you're better by now.

You replaced the pewter/lead parts with brass rod I assume? About 1/16" or what type should I look for?
