Thank you gentlemen.... ;)

Inspired by smokeyrones Last Stand in the Sudan:

http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=124151.0

I wanted to build my own little desert fort.
I really liked the low walls on smokeys build. So many advanteges over high, proper walls.

So I put down my old desert village again and added a few wall sections. Kind off Rourkes Drift im Sudan...defended obsticales plus 2-3 houses.

Enough for a decent game....

And here with a few miniatures... :D

And a pic of my egyptians so far.

Cheers,
Don

Smiling!  When this group says I did good, I did good!

Great work.

Be sure to check out Chris Ferere's " Its Jolly Deadly, ol Boy" FREE Rorkes Drift rules!

Adaptable to any rules set, so many neat, simple additions (surgeon repairing wounded, bad guys climbing walls, etc)  Even rules for melee vs Pip the terrier!

Low wall sections rock!  If they too high, attackers gonna die!

Thanx gents... ;D

Okay. This week I tried to improve in numbers for my sudan stuff.

First I raised a batch of Bashi Bazouk angemalt.

And the regular egyptians get a few more minis too.

Even painted up a few Cuirassiers...great models.
Had to paint them.... :)

And a coole Krupp gun...

And a new horde for the madhists is done. Still in very limitetd painting style... ;)

I nearly burned through my sudan stuff...just a ew blisters left. Not to bad for one week me thinks... ;D

Have to concentrate on scenery in the next nights.

Cheers,
Don

After the Corona lockdown in Berlin is a little bit lifted I sceduled a sudan game last weekend.

Little improvised, but at least I had the chance to get nearly all my sudan minis on the table.
Sorry was to excited to take more pics....my first game after nearly 2 month... :o o_o ;D

Scenario saw a small detachment of egyptian troops trying  to reach a little desert fortress.
Hunted by various groups of madhists.

We played a german ruleset named Kugelhagel with some minor house rules.

Was a close game with some cinematic actions... :)

Cheers,
Don

Great photos of your game.
I have started painting colonials again.
(It's been many a year.)
Started with some Sudan figures.
Now have to figure how to post them.
(My weak point.)
