Week three down (I think I prefer weeks for terrain) and the main groundwork is done along with the shoji and a couple of touching up bits.

The mound was like icing a cake  lol

There will be sand in the courtyard and I’ll start on the ‘entrance’ base this coming week.

Looking good and I understand your reference to cake icing. My cork based terrain typically requires some spackling and this can be challenging to both cover and to get the correct texture without extensive sanding. The amount of dilution of the spackle is key to this.
Got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight.
