Hello all, dropping another line on the mic here.

In preparation for one of my already numerous projects I've been interested in machinery suitable for a machine shop or metal shop. Mostly just the basic components you'd expect to find, like drill presses, metal lathes, dual-disk grinders, MIG welder, etc.

Any ideas? I've seen plenty of bits for interior detailing for homes, offices and whatnot, but never some place where the metal grit and flux resides.

Cheers.

I'd be interested, too. I have started my own, but have only managed one shelf so far. At my current rate of going, it'll probably 2012 for a full workshop.

Here is one of the test casts:

Look at his other galleries too, for some more perfection-induced depression.

This is the only thing that springs to my mind. Pretty sure I have seen workbenches and cabinets on here.

Sierra West's stuff for O scale is great, but at their prices I'd use the pictures as a guide for scratchbuilding.

I will second Rusty Rail at:

I put my first order in on Saturday morning, and he already had it in the mail by Saturday afternoon. He posted to let me know that he wouldn`t get it out until today, but somehow got it out Saturday instead. I am looking forward to getting the package. Rick has workbenches, acetylene tanks on a cart, cabinets, etc. You should find many things of interest.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys! That's a model?!?! :o

Oh, no, no. I'm fine, Flip. Already had more than my share of experience with the interior of one and its machinery. Could have been a welder, you know.

Good luck with your stuff, Zafarelli. I'll be raiding your shop in the (hopefully) near future, as well.
