If somebody is interested themanuscript  "français 388 " is available on the BNF web site.
The book is about use of artilery and train in early 17th century. Some text in french of course, but lot of pictures at the end.

Did you noticed the shape of the carts? Wider between wheels.

I also like the way the infantry battalions are drawn...
