Nice!
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

That's some really impressive heraldry on the officers of these contingents!

Rapid work!

I'd say you should be able to get them into battle in no time.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you.

That's some really impressive heraldry on the officers of these contingents!

The heraldry on the leader figures is not my work but painted by Dez who has posted on the medieval page a year or so ago.

A couple of weeks ago as we entered lockdown, I was gifted a couple of sets of sprues by Ulverston, from the Agincourt and mercenary ranges, and decided to do a little kitbashing using the spear and axe arms to produce some Array contingents, especially Welsh Spearmen.  I wanted them to look a little different from the bill and bow armed troops. Here's my attempt.

Next up will be some more riding retinue.

Nice work! I like the touch of using the older style arms to give them a real militia feel!

Also, I really like the wildflowers on the bases, they look great!

After a brief hiatus, whilst I turned my attention to other projects, I have recently painted up a few mor WotR figures.

Here are some of Jasper Tudor, Earl of Pembroke's retinue.

And the whole contingent.

These along with his father Owen Tudor and some of the earlier Welsh Spearmen will form part of the army for the Battle of Mortimers Cross.

and that heraldry is painted? Amazing work.  Great looking units - be good to see them in a game situation.

As I've said before in the thread, the heraldry on the magnate figures is the work of Dez ( a member on this forum) who is a very talented painter.  I just put the rank and file together.

Hopefully I will get a game or two in when the lockdown lifts and I'll post some pictures of the whole Army.  It's just a few units from being completed.
