Vickers Medium Mk.III (revisited)
« on: April 06, 2020, 09:57:33 PM »
I've been redesigning my old 1:100 (15mm) model of the Vickers Medium Mk.III to make it suitable for home FDM 3d printing. This is a job that I've been putting off for quite a while, mainly because I don't personally have a need for the physical model any more, so it hasn't been a very high priority for me.

Unfortunately, wargaming3d.com (where I put my STL files up for sale) is having issues at the moment, and I can't add any new products to my catalogue. Hopefully the problems will be resolved soon, but until then it will have to remain accessible to me alone.

FDM test print at 0.08mm layers. Printed in eSun PLA+ (black) and primed with Vallejo VMA Khaki Green #3

Looks good Fitz!
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Nice bits of details. Such an ugly duckling though!

But absolutely brilliant for a VBCW,  cracking bit of kit. Will this go on site that prints them for sale Fitz?

Yes. Sliced in Cura using its tree supports, printed sitting on its tracks on a raft.

With a bit of ducking and diving I've finally managed to upload the STLs for this model to Wargaming3d.com.

They can be had at https://www.wargaming3d.com/product/vickers-medium-mk-iii/
