Naismith and Rounday availability
« on: April 09, 2020, 11:36:05 AM »
Hi All,
I placed an order on February 13th of 15 mm Naismith figures but so far I haven't received neither my figures nor an e mail concerning the delay in dispatching my order.
I tried to contact them by e mail with no avail.
Is there anybody who knows if Naismith & Roundway is still active or if  because of Covid19, there could be some problems?
Last year I placed orders with this producer and I had no problem so I ask the community for some info.
TIA
Marco

I emailed them last year (via their contact form) but never got a reply.

They can be  a pain to deal with.  I've no idea about their latest situation but I raised a PayPal dispute in January this year and that resulted in prompt dispatch of my order.

I placed a small order last year and it took a wee while to arrive, but they did arrive. :)

Thank you all for your comments.
Actually I don't like the idea of ask for a refund from Paypall.
I guess that the person behind this firm is probably a good guy with limited time resources.
I do hope to get my figures sooner or later.
I ordered some Aztec and Conquistadores 15 mm figures to complete a small army I painted nearly 20 years ago.

I didn't realise they were still trading, I thought they retired a decade ago

The old Navwar figures moulds have been taken over  by a guy who is a fan of their style

I had to do the same last Fall.  PayPal dispute got attention.

I placed another order late December and received it in less than 30 days to the US.

Its seems more hobby than business, but John always comes through in the end.

He is not very email responsive, so don't expect much.

It is exactly what I think about him. What I hope is that  John happens to read my post and dispatches my order.

Telephone? A friendly word in tones of concern can work wonders.
The laws of probability do not apply to my dice in wargames or to my finesses in bridge.

I recently asked the nice people at The Keep.
They'd not heard of anything and suggested evilbay.
Sadly it seems as though the lovely figures of Roundway and Naismith  are gone.

Thanks— if I hear anything elsewhere I’ll post here.
