That is not a place I would go near at night.  lol

Fantastic work.  That would be amazing to see up close.   Thanks for all the extra pictures.

Hah! like shots from a Hammer House of Horror, except the colour balance is better than my TV managed in the 70's...

Very impressed by those trees, did you use roots as well as twigs?

Thank you :) All the trees were made with roots, and either smaller roots, wire or seamoss.

Thanks all :)
Sinewgrab; I'll take some distance photos next weekend, suffice to say I don't have a big enough back drop for it...

That's fine - while your shots give it a great feel, I am trying to get an idea of the ACTUAL size and layout.  I can't from the photos, and for me, that really stops me from getting a feel for what you did, if that makes sense.  It's like I'm trying to see an elephant from 20 up close photos, that aren't laid in any pattern.

Actual size is about 60 cm across the front by 30 cm,the hill is maybe 5cm,the depth of the river 3cm at its lowest point.  Have you had a look at my build thread?
PS the tower itself is about 15cm,the miniatures are all 28 mm,Highgate, Games Workshop,Redbox Games and Hasslefree. The animals are Otherworld,Eureka, the fish I can't remember. All trees are scratch built, everything else is either scratch or lazer etch(the ferns),water is two part resin, and the board is foam, phew ;D

I did actually - I may not be explaining myself well.  Your build thread went from straight down shots at the base to close ups of everything, so there is no chance to actually see it all at once - everything is close enough that I can't see the scale of the tower to the base, how big or small figures are in relation to the overall piece.  Gah, I don't know if I am making sense.

It feels like everything is like this photo

But none of them are like this

I guess I can't put them all together in my head without a pulled back shot that gives me the whole picture.  I dunno, maybe I should go back to sleep.

This is incredible work, Guy - I love it! Lots of detail, and I really like the colour-palette. This is really pleasing for me to look at and explore - well done!
