As some of you will know, a while ago Brian Rigelsford carried out some one-off conversions for my TYW collection. The last unit he completed was a unit of 30-odd Imperial dragoons for the early war (the rank and file are wearing shoes, and there are pikes) and this has now been painted for me by Kevin Dallimore. Kevin sent me the photos yesterday and I thought I'd share a few with you. The inspiration for this and the other double-mounted figures are the illustrations on pages 187 and 237 of Wagner's book. Brian had control over which figures he used as a starting point, but, as I recall, most of the original sculpts were either Foundry or Perry figures, with a few Redoubt figures thrown in and I can see the odd Warlord one in there too.
