Cheers Fred and Elk.

Herewith, more 10mm Forest Dragon Bretonnia Miniatures - this time some mounted leaders. Close-up pictures like these are certainly good for showing up where one needs to touch up.

More pictures here: https://frictionbmcminiatures.blogspot.com/2022/02/golgothas-10mm-forest-dragon-bretonnia_32.html

I clearly still have work to do on this one.

I am, however, happy with the Green Knight.

Herewith, Golgotha's 10mm Forest Dragon Bretonnia Miniatures - this time the Men-at-Arms. These are a joy to paint up and would like more maybe with different shield designs. Great as generic Medieval too.

Very nice, indeed.

The Forest Dragon 10mm 3D printed minis have incredible detail. Almost certainly the best 10mm miniatures on the market.

Although I have been a historic painter for most of my adult life, I took the leap and bought a high elves army. When I had the minis in my hands, I was just astonished. Am presently starting my project of painting them.

Keep up the good work. Your Bretonnia army is looking ace!

Cheers Ray Rivers. Yes it would be nice to see more 3D printed miniatures becoming available for Historical gaming particularly in 10mm, particularly if they are of this high quality.

Herewith, 10mm Forest Dragon Bretonnia Miniatures - Peasant Militia. Of all these miniatures thus far I found these in many ways the hardest to paint but they are one of my favourite units, as I do enjoy gaming with poor quality units as they bring a certain entertainment value. The undead army by Forest Dragon has zombies that are undead versions of the peasants, which is rather cool.

Herewith, Risk Lord of the Rings game pieces, which I have repurposed to use with my 10mm fantasy wargaming.

More pictures available here: https://frictionbmcminiatures.blogspot.com/2022/03/golgothas-fantasy-using-risk-game.html

First up some giant eagles which could also be good with an Elven army.

I have added the eagles to my Bretonnia army with Griffin - leader as commander.

The Troll is not a particularly nice miniature however he paints up rather well - shown with men-at-arms for size.

The Nazgul is bit larger than the other 10mm cavalry but then being a nasty beasty like this perhaps being a little larger actually works. Certainly an apt miniature for an undead army which I am hoping to do next.

So in order to complete the Bretonnia army I have one more set to purchase, namely, Pegasus Knights and maybe add some Empire-armoured Knights and crossbowmen (mercenary/allies) and then onto an undead army as the enemy. I would also like to do some of the Forest Dragon Trolls with some orcs as well as maybe Forest Elves.

I do need to get around to doing all the bases and any final touch-ups here and there. Like to also maybe scratch build a castle for them.

Loving the 10mm stuff! The green knight and the reliquary are especially nice.

Cheers Blacksoilbill, I must admit I really like 10mm having had so much fun with 10mm ECW I jumped at the opportunity to put together a Bretonnian 10mm army. Old 28MM Bretonnia miniatures have become very expensive so this is an option many might consider.

Herewith, something different a little demonic scratch-built altar. So back to 28mm...

Something Wicked This Way Comes...
Herewith, a terrifying beasty in many ways spider and in other ways shadow. It is also very large with bulbous eyes. Not even sure what it is but got it cheap on eBay and had loads of fun painting it up. Attempted to use loads of different shades of black - with glossy pure black eyes. As Has Been said " I don't know what the 'thing in the wood' is, but it frightens me."

That's really cool.

And useful for so many different...things?
Fantasy, Weird WW2 (the experiment),
Modern (it escaped from the lab), PA (see what
happens when everybody fires chemical weapons)
through to Sci-Fi. :D

The beastie is an avatar of Nyarlathotep from the Cthulhu Wars range, the Dweller in Darkness I believe. And yes it's a very nice figure like quite a few in the game.
We haul ours to kick theirs.

Cheers Elk 101

Now you have me thinking Has Been - certainly useful... Do like the idea of maybe Sci-Fi or as some sort of Lovecraftian horror lurking at the threshold...

Thank you Diehard at least I now know what it is - found this, see: https://www.thegamesteward.com/products/cthulhu-wars-masks-of-nyarlathotep -
I have updated my blog to reflect your intel.
I can't get over the price - at most I paid around 3 pounds... Would never have bought it otherwise - just felt like painting something completely different.
