Good taste, those are classy ‘evil knight’ figures. I like how they look very menacing, without being too over-the-top - they might be corrupted by chaos, or just nasty people, one never knows…

Cheers Pattus Magnus - they look to me as more "evil" than many of the over-the-top miniatures one sees... Chaos knights being a prime example.

It is a pity that there has always been a lack of options for evil-looking humans, especially ones that are not cheesy or over the top. You know the sort covered in horns and skulls etc.

These Grenadier knights also remind me of the knights and armour seen in some of the opening first battle scenes in the Excalibur film.

Nice work. I've frequently been tempted to get some of those Grenadier models and this thread might just push me to do so!

By the way, love the Ice Witch on page 4. Has a real "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" vibe!

Cheers Tikitang - thank you for also posting on my blog.

Herewith what I will be using for a nature/forest type army - Satyrs or as I think GW labeled as Ungor.

I have done their shields in a way inspired by the Green Man with forest floor-inspired bases. Shields done using green stuff epoxy 2-part putty. They are in a movement tray and each is individually based.

I love what you did on the shields! To me, they look more wild and chaotic than the usual chaos sigils and skulls (is it just me, or does anyone else find many of GW’s chaos figures often end up looking quite orderly - all packing the same sigils and similar grimdark armour and colour palettes?) These guys could also fit right into a wilderness/ nature army, for added versatility.

Those look great! The tree patterns on the Minas Tirith figures look quite good.

Cheers Malebolgia.

Herewith some 10mm Dragons. The red and black are toys and the green is I think a RAFM mini which was missing its wings so found some from a toy.
