Interesting the wings are different to the civilian version.
Are they they specific to the sports car? Go faster styling?

Yup. It makes them look a bit like the Belgian Minerva but they were all conversions from Series II or IIa SWBs. Why they modified the front fenders is anyone’s guess.

Now with winch cabin.  The main thing I wanted from this book was the transmission area, it's exposed so needs to be at least approximately correct.

You are going to plonk your T-55 on the back of that aren’t you? Make it 1/48 and I reckon you could tap into the serious modelling market now that Tamiya have released their T-55. Might be a quid in it.

Transmission.

Probably a waste of time... mostly it's out of sight but the transfer case and gearbox are on show at least.

The perils of drawings...  in this case the transfer case was far too forward and low.  Had to rejig the whole transmission to make it sit correctly.  Had to get it right as it sticks out!
