Cheers Rick except in their first game they got slaughtered lol

See: https://frictionbmcminiatures.blogspot.com/2020/04/golgothas-games-lord-of-rings-dragon.html

Will need to add more cavalry or something to make them more viable opponents against my orcs.

New unit syndrome strikes again.
Looks like some archers and spears are needed.  And then some Rangers of Ithilien, Knights of Dol Amroth and men from the Southern Fiefs..................
I reckon another 100 figures should do it.

Herewith, some Moria Goblins and Cave Troll.

I am relatively happy with how these came out they do look rather terrifying with their beady little eyes.

Flag conversion.

Tried to give some variety in appearance and skin tone.

They look great! You really managed to get a diverse look out of limited poses.

I also moved a few heads around to get more diversity. Besides who doesn't enjoy chopping off a few Goblin heads  lol

Herewith, an old GW Classic Sauron on throne. I do like the tentacles entwined around tortured souls. This miniature is certainly fun to paint. I still hope to do a more elaborate base with stairs and piles of skulls. These miniatures are hard to come by and go for a small fortune on ebay. I was lucky to pick mine up for next to nothing, years before Lord of the Rings was popularised by the movies.

Herewith, some of the key characters. These and a few others are still a work in progress, but sufficient for the table as it were. The fellowship gets underway I suppose - also see: https://frictionbmcminiatures.blogspot.com/2020/05/golgothas-lord-of-rings-some-fellowship.html
