That's really cool. That hand would be great on it's own as a spell effect too.

More great stuff, love the dog. The PJ on that cloud hand looks great.

154. Isharann Soulrender (Games Workshop)

A birthday present from a friend this is a really impressive sculpt, intricate and dynamic, although I swapped the enormous serrated shepherd's crook thing he was carrying for something a bit more businesslike. As you hopefully might be able to tell I was attempting to capture something of the look that Blasphemia Blackwood (who posts on this forum) gives her astounding AOS miniatures.

Oooh, now that's damn good.
'Sir John ejaculated explosively, sitting up in his chair.' ... 'The Black Gang'.

Nice! It did remind me of Blasphemia Blackwood's work, which is a huge compliment.

Thanks Cubs, that means a lot coming from you *blushes*.

And yes, Elk101 that is indeed a compliment. I read her tutorials and consciously tried to follow parts of her method, but I could not help but think that her application of highlights would be more sparing and her use of shadows more, well... artistic. And I was not brave enough (this time) to try her paint flicking technique on an otherwise finished miniature!

156. Ork mounted on Wereboar

“New school” Reaper bones wereboar, with Gw Ork rider. A GS fur saddle cloth added so rider would fit, and added a few bits to hang off . Banner/standard was missing, so I sculpted a stone spearhead.

The Orc is a superb conversion!

And a special 'Thank You!' as I have been seeking an appropriately large boar for a project of my own and have just found it!
