Life on Mars

Well that's probably the quickest I've ever done a project !
Uniformed officers are joined by some double hard b'stards.

Life on Mars was a TV Series from the UK, a cop from 2006 got transported back in time to the 1970s and a very different era of British Policing.

I've used these Crooked Dice figs to represent the cast, sadly I haven't been able to find the car from the series (a MkIII Cortina, the Audi came later).

Back to the Kingdom of Jerusalem stuff next before I tackle the bad guys to fight this lot, more pics on the blog.

'This place is getting more like Guantanimo Bay every day'
'It's nothing like Spain'
Sorry if I misquote, but it does bring back fun memories.

This made me smile.
Started watching this over again last week with one of my sons.
I had forgotten just how good it was. Funny with their little comments, and yet a good storyline every episode.
You have done a brilliant job on the figures btw.

Wow an Austin Allegro police car. Now that is a fast motor....NOT

Cheers everyone,

I do wonder why they chose the Allegro for the promo shots, the original main car was a MkIII Cortina before the much more recognisable Quattro.

I once (or thrice) had the misfortune to have to push-jump-start an Austin Aggro and by Superman's invincible overpants those things were so bloody heavy, no wonder they were slow ;) lol

Probably to highlight it was a police procedural, except for WPC Cartwright, they look like a right bunch of villains (YMMV).

The Audi would have been more anachronistic in Life On Mars than it was in Ashes to Ashes ^__^.
