Excellent!  I've just made a start on my British and Hanoverians and your collection is serving as inspiration.  :-*

Lovely!  Interesting seeing the red & white Hessian gun carriages.  I've read vague descriptions of them, but never seen a picture or seen a wargames model of one.  Is that based on an actual picture, or a 'best guess' based on a description?  I like the red wheel-spokes...

And do you have any info on the Schaumburg-Lippe artillery?  I've read suggestions that it was 'grey-white' and some preserved guns at Buckeburg Palace today are certainly on grey-white carriages, but I've not found anything definitive.

Hi!
For Hessian gun carriage colors, I was based on Christian Rogge's blog, I estimate a lot for his extensive historical research
http://crogges7ywarmies.blogspot.com/search/label/Hesse-Kassel%20SYW%20Artillery
The same painting scheme was found also here
https://dotsofpaint.blogspot.com/2012/08/hessian-gun-color-of-syw-part-2.html
Kronoskaf has adopted Christian Rogge's suggestion, as well

For Schaumburg-Lippe artillery, here they are depicted with blood red carriages with black fittings
https://nigbilpainter.blogspot.com/2011/12/schaumburg-lippe-artillery-battery.html
but, as it concerns the uniform color, Kronoskaf say that the artillerists wore a darker blue
http://kronoskaf.com/syw/index.php?title=Schaumburg-Lippe-B%C3%BCckeburg_Artillery

Here I found concentrated info about SYW artillery carriage colors
http://miniatures.de/colour-18th-century-artillery.html
but it says that Schaumburg-Lippe artillery wood was painted white. May be it is the "grey-white" you mentioned

Cheers Din!  :D

I imagine that the most likely white paint of the period would be 'white lead' which would look quite grey, hence that description, I suppose?  I am tempted to go with that colouring, just to make them stand out.

Any idea re Brunswick gun-carriages?

As I did my French guns wrong with red carriages (thanks Osprey!  >:( ), I'm going to recycle those as Reichsarmee guns and paint some new guns with light blue carriages for the French.

White lead! This must be... Mine were painted a bit whiter...

For the French, don't worry, I made the same the same mistake  lol

As for Brunswick artillery:
The artillery was small and served only the battalion guns of the infantry. There was no heavy artillery with the Brunswick army during the Seven Years' War.
In 1757, it counted 3 companies with some 272 men, serving 14 pieces (6 x 3-pdr guns, 2 howitzers, 6 x 2-pdr guns)
In 1760 the unit was increased to 320 men.

Nice uniform, by the way

I had seen somewhere that gun carriages were in grey, I searched again now, but can't find the source, sorry!
Digby Smith in his Armies of the Seven Years War says that the artillery company was subsidized by England
