Viking boat...SCRATCH BUILT OARS ADDED

Hello again!! I'm back with another build. This time a Viking raider or trader boat.
The materials are cardboard, foam core, cloth, toothpicks, craft sticks, wooden dowels, paper clips to hold the shields on and wooden wheels.
The paint is acrylic crafting paints from Wallyworld, and has been sealed with full strength pva glue along with a spray can clear dullcoat.

I know she is NOT accurate, but is meant for game play as a representation of a Viking vessel.





















Certain parts are removable for transport or storage.
Please let me know what you think of her.

I do like that, I am after building a couple of 'viking' boats for the kids. I was going to use the laser cut MDF one available but it looked a bit 'angular'

Yes, I agree with them beong a bit "angular"....with the foam core sides, i sandwitched a piece of cardboard in between for added strength, and pinned the bottom in until glue dried, then pinched the tops with some plastic craft clamps....THAT pinched part gave it a better look, not so rigidly stright up and down, and a more "rounded top part to the bow and stern.
