Hooray! "Orc" heads on "goblin" bodies is a great way to add the one Tolkienesque touch that the originals lack: the big heads. The slave bits work really well here too.

Tremendous kitbashing - very much looking forward to seeing these ones painted!

Nice work! I really like the ease which with Northstar's kits can be bashed together. These guys look great!

That’s exactly what I was thinking! Great idea.

Xlent! I have a batch not yet photographed and even more in the pipeline. Jolly good fun, converting plastic orcs/goblins to Proper-Middle-Earth.

Thanks :)

Finally found some time to paint six of the latest orcses... These are more or less Oathmark orc slaves, straight from the box, but with bow arms, quivers and heads from some of the other Oathmark sets.

Edit: Oh, and natty little capes added from Green Stuff. (You do not have to know anything about sculpting to do this! ;))

Fabulous. That's exactly what they were designed to look like.

Love 'em.

Cheers Nick.

You have done an outstanding job with the Oathmark range. Makes it very easy to build 'true to Tolkien' looking armies for Mordor and Isengard, and with so many different sets in the range, the kitbashing opportunities are endless  8)

Beautiful! You blended the pieces together really well and the painting is excellent. Inspiring work there.

This has inspired me to order a few boxes. You've done these up perfectly.

A really nice work! I see a Victric Viking horn, I used one too at my Oathmark Orcs, a good addition  >:D

This has inspired me to order a few boxes. You've done these up perfectly.
I can also only recommend them, I have (had) a lot of fun kitbashing with them. Goblin Infantry, Goblin Slaves and Orc Infantry. Will need to look if I really need more Orcs before I go for the Heavy Orc Infantry. The Wolf Riders are nice too (and expand the kitbash range), my only problem is that they are not sitting idle on the Wolves (I need them separate in case the rider gets shot or I need some lone wolves).
