ELDORADO mayan/Aztecs (added Mayan Nobles)
« on: June 02, 2020, 09:54:56 AM »
Now that I've painted the italian  "Conquistatori" (Conquistadores). It's time to paint some eldorado aztec/maya.
These miniatures will be a pulp mix of aztecs/mayan with a paint scheme ispired by the cartoon "The Road to Eldorado", then without historical accuracy ;)
They will be hunters or goons in my Palaeo Pulp games or a league in Pulp Alley.

The loyal (and stupid) accolyte of Tzekel-Kan in the left, and Chief Tannabok in the right.

I have thought about painting up Mayans ever since I visited my first Mayan pyramid! They are so colorful. Looking good...

Thanks :)
Two more pulp mayan/aztec characters.
The paint scheme is ispired by the Tzekel-Kan and Chel characters from the cartoon "The road to El Dorado".

Yes, maybe I should paint them smaller  :-X
But it's not easy to do little details, in fact most miniatures have disproportionate details, to facilitate painting.

I painted two more characters for my Eldorado games. An elite mayan/aztec guard and an acolyte of the temple of Tzekel-Kan.
The guard is painted with a paint scheme ispired by one of the warriors/guards from the cartoon "The Road for Eldorado".

Here a group shot of the Eldorado characters painted at the moment:

Thanks, Mirliton S.G. for the maya/aztec warriors and  Pontoonier Miniatures from Badger Games for the maya priest and girls (PM OWMS003 Mayan Vampiric Cabal).

I painted 6 maya warriors, as usual the paint scheme is ispired by the maya from "The Road to El Dorado" cartoon.

Nice painting on all that skin.  Might not be historic but it looks good!
