While not terribly exciting... I recently picked up a large set of Crescent Root's 15mm 'Normandy'-esque buildings.  I ordered some brick and stone walls to add to the table.

I find Normandy pretty boring, as growing up in America, we've more or less been taught that WW2 only consisted of Pearl Harbor, Normandy, Iwo Jima, and Stalingrad.  However, I have two buddies with British forces, and two buddies with American forces...so I wanted an alternate table for non-Eastern Front stuff.

I ordered some brick and stone walls from Monday Knight Productions(?) and they're...as bad as I expected.  Very classic late-90's "convention" level terrain.  I spent a lot of time scraping off flash, sanding the bottoms flat, and cutting off extraneous junk.  I think I salvaged them.  These will be used along with the Normandy buildings to make some farms and just add cover to the table.

Not my best work, but finally got my hands on some variety of prime movers for my Germans.  All 3D prints.  My transport selection for my Germans is growing rapidly alongside the scout selections.

They’re looking great - I love the variations in Dunkelgelb.

Thanks...annoyingly the other colours are me trying to find a "good" version of Dunkelgelb.  Stuff like the two Opel Blitzes in the top left will probably be repainted, etc.  Turns out Vallejo's spray paints (while fantastic) have a terrible version of Dunkelgelb. :(

:D I don’t feel so bad now. I found painting Dunkelgelb hard work as I was never sure I’d got it right.

My current "fix" is...dumb.  It's Vallejo Bone spray...followed by Vallejo "Dark Khaki Green" armour wash...and then Army Painter strong tone.  Somehow it just gives me the right look I wanted.

The last of the German 3D prints I received, a pair of 20mm FlaK guns.  One with an FJ crew, and one with a panzergrenadier crew.  They can be towed by the small SdKfz. 10 halftracks.

Finally replaced my old Zvezda BA-10's (a historically bad kit...and poorly painted) with some 3D printed replacements.  I can already see the long road ahead of "rescuing" most of my Soviet vehicles with updated models/paintjobs!

Replacing the old (awful) Zvezda BA-10 kits.

My four-liter bin count is now at: six bins for the Soviets, and five bins for the Germans.

And (drum roll) the last in my stack of 15mm shame...(for now at least) a pair of Battlefront Panzer III M's.  Really happy with the results on these guys - using the new Victrix decals which are superb (if pricey).

I sat down to hobby yesterday and forgot I needed to finish off this second set of walls I'd ordered.  Really poor resin walls, but with a lot of chopping/cleaning/changing and basing..acceptable.

Bit slow but they are very nice. Excellent palette choice on the stone.

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with the project.  I'm more or less done with the Germans and will be re-doing my Soviets to a higher standard as I have time/money/patience.
