The scourge of the Late Roman Eastern Frontier, Diomedes and his Dromedarii Dirty Dozen. Useful for scouting, policing, raiding and petty larceny. I plan to use these for either 2 units of light camelry in a Lion Rampant Game, as my frontier police in my pulp Roma Victa skirmish game, or perhaps start their own adventure as "The Lost Patrol".
Six are Warlord Game figures and mounts, Five were Foundry Late Roman cavalry with camels from Essex and a variety of other sources. Two were old Corvus Huns. Basically, lots of green stuff and adding of scarves, bows, flasks, tarps, shields, bags, quivers, etc. I really like the look of them, but then I though "hmm, a lot of work into a unit that is relatively combat ineffective and will probably run away every time they have to take a morale test".
