Dunkeldorf has opened their second kickstarter, this time with a tavern theme. I really dig the oldhammer style miniatures, that are inspired by the old warhammer RPG's!

I have pledged for this one too. The miniatures are very good; clean castings, great details and very atmospheric.

There's lots of nice bits too as stretchgoals.

I have bought some from the first Kickstarter. Here's a painted one, Erika Schmidt, and her anvil. Sorry about the slightly-off focus  :-I

I think that there’s lots to like about this Kickstarter. First and foremost, there’s the diverse range of miniatures with young and old, slim and fat, rich and poor. Many are carrying old injuries. There’s also the toying with fantasy gender and ‘racial’ stereotypes (a female rat catcher, a potbellied Elf) plus a dusting of silliness (an armoured guard chicken?).

The people running it are very engaged and responding to many of the comments individually. They’re taking some ideas on board and considering others. Stretch goals are being regularly added and ticked off. I thought that their first Kickstarter was good, but this one seems to have more momentum. Good luck to them.
