Another one bites the dust (Vietnam)
« on: June 20, 2020, 12:07:57 AM »
Hey everyone!

I've posted these on "28mm Vietnam Gaming" on facebook - But for those outside or just prefering a solid-old-school-forum - I've taken theliberty to repost here ;)

I've sloooowly started my descent into the madness of the green jungles of 'Nam - My aim is to convert an Empress' Recon Team and some VC's into a MACVSOG/Mike Force inspired unit.

While waiting for the mailman to fall into the punji-traps - I've dug into my bitsbox and started a few side conversions..

First up is a Sniper and his Spotter
Inspired greatly by the movie "Sniper" from 1993

Most likely they are not 100% era-correct, but I'm not shy at stretching under 'rule of cool' ;)

Second is a Tunnel Rat, I made him mostly for fun but a friendly chap on facebook suggested making a sort of crossover between Nam and Spacehulk... So ideas are brewing!!

20/20 vision and digtal photos are cruel, so I've already spotted a few mistakes - But they'll have to wait untill the greenstuff dries :D

Enjoy!

Very cool! I did something similar myself, using the Eureka recon marines.
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo
