Those dudes look great. Good idea.
Are those Crusador Miniatures Samnites heads from a separate heads set or did you chop them off a full minature?

"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

While i am waiting for the sprues i ordered to arrive i have painted up a few greeks.
The two on the left are the wonderful Lucid Eye miniatures from the Ziggurat series sculpted by Steve Saleh. They are bit pricey but i think they are worth it. The third figure is from Warlord games (i think from the sparten king blister). I added a cloak and a bit of fur.

I think they’re worth it too Robert. Gorgeous figures. The only problem is that they somewhat make the Warlord figure look a bit substandard  ::)
(I’m sure he’s not, in the flesh as it were :))

I was actually thinking of picking up those exact two Lucid Eye minis the other day for... well not quite sure what project, but they look awesomely heroic, without being "too fantastical"!

They are beautiful! And I'm really liking that light blue green color really looks lovely with the winter theme! What paint did you use?

Thanks.
The paints question is difficult to answer. It was mainly the sea gray and pale green from Coat d'Arms and some colour called neotach from Warzone.
I have about 40 or 50 different paint pots that i have collected over the last 10 or 15 years from about 6 different companys. Coat d' arms,Warzone,Pegasus,Formula P3, valejo etc. Often they were cheap because they were being discontinued but if i liked the colour it did not matter.
