About 500+ models on the table by the end, when a bunch of Dwarves arrived from Moria to save the day for the Elves...

Thanks! We scratched our heads for a bit over what to use for Sauron; we considered a guy in chunky plate armour, and one of the Heroic Fighters of the Known World, but I think Elric looks good, and fitted in well with our other models

I think we both enjoyed it, and certainly my friend said that he was keen to have another go, playing as Sauron next time.
My dream, or one of my dreams, would be to fight the big 1st Age battles, probably in 10mm. One day...
