Nice work. I love the archer with the fingers up as if he's just about to shoot all the LRM's

The commando is a strange looking one
I don't remember the big arms
it appears to be a COM - 7S
I think?

The Commando always had chunky forearms (certainly my two metals in the two different poses do), but the MWO design does pronounce it even more.

I grabbed most of Matt Mason's stls before the purge, and got a good chunk (several gig) of the others but a few were gone.  I believe they are resurfacing under alternative nom de guerres now though  ;)

Oh, superb painting on the Urbie BTW, I keep thinking about printing a big one to do up as a display piece 😁

Urbanmech in urban camo.

Very nice colour scheme & great execution.

Stencils or hand painted?

Z

Hand painted. I can hide all my dodgy checks with washes and highlights!  ;)

That Mondrian is excellent.

Ok....that Robotech mech I don't know! ???

I think this design got changed a fair bit for the computer game version. Heres a photo i found of it....

I like the jet pilot looking helmet personally. The guns ARE a bit chunky!

Heres a bit more of the Urbanmech. Just decals and some basing to do. I may rebisit the OSL on the left gun and the cockpit windows, the varnish has done something to them! >:(

The varnish filled the cockpit windows and end of the gun barrel. This is a pic last night, before varnish, but without any decent light to take a picture!

I think this design got changed a fair bit for the computer game version. Heres a photo i found of it....

Those look super!  :-*

I played MWO for at least 6 years with a clan. Great fun. I had a huge inventory of mechs (100+) and liked to play the Raven, Jenner, Cataphract, and Stalker. Really liked the Stalker. Then the Clan mechs came out and I crossed over to the dark side...  :D

The Commando looks spot on to me, at least from a MWO perspective. I had a friend who could destroy just about anything with that mech. He'd drive everybody totally craze. Really hard to kill and you almost always had to leg him first.

Great thread and project!

Do a locust next!
It was my favourite in the original MW computer game. You could go up to a battle master and run into its leg and leg it quick. It couldn't look down so couldn't shoot you. Lol. Not aged well that game

Weeeeeelll! Funny you should say. I printed this off on Saturday. I was having problems with the slicing software messing up the detail on some of these prints, so I spent the time doing the supports for this one myself. Its still a learning process for me and it looks like I didn't support the rhs gun enough.
