15mm Konflict47-War Without End
« on: July 04, 2020, 11:12:58 AM »
Hi Guys,

Finally got around to updating my blog with Konflict47 15mm post.  It shows my German kampfgruppe so far.....there is more to come.

On that note if anyone has any Clockwork Goblin War Without End minis stashed away that they want rid of.....you know where to find me.

A nice looking army.

At that scale, you will also have to make an Opfor since most Konflict47 players will only have 28mm.  I can't wait to see that too!

Looking great Frostie,

I don’t have as much as you but have some spinne walkers and a Thor to make my 15mm Bolt Action German force a bit more ‘weird’. I also have a couple of American walkers and intended to sculpt or modify to fill in the gaps (an old GW plasma gun and a battlefront Sherman make a passable konflikt tank). I’d love more and was frustrated by CG’s joining with Warlord (and scarcity and cost on eBay). So much so that since then whenever I’ve ran into the chaps from CG I’ve nagged them about heading back to 15mm (presumably Warlord’s contract for the 28mm stops a different scale being released). Let’s hope it’s worked.  ;)

Having looked at the FiB models numerous times I think I’m going to have to get some Katzchen apcs, they are lovely little models (and just remembered my belt sander has died....hmm......how to remove the ridiculous bases?)
Keep up the good work, I’ll keep watching,
BALM

There is also the Heer46 range of what if 15mm WW2+ miniatures

And there's always 3D printing too. I've seen a few paper panzer files out there. Though I've no idea what Clockwork Goblin's contract is with Warlord (if they're just producing the models, or Clockwork is locked in so that Warlord own the rights too), but you'd think their 28mm files could be scaled down to 15mm. Maybe as part of some updated re-release of the range in future.

Clockwork Goblin have said in the past they want to come back to 15mm - but I wonder if that's just them hoping, rather than a commitment?

Wyrmalla you may have a point (lets hope Warlord don’t own the rights to the IP just the 28mm version). When I spoke to the chaps at CG in person I believe it was a mix of wanting to continue their vision in their original scale and wanting to placate the bloke hassling them and telling them that I preferred their earlier work  :) Thoroughly nice chaps though.

Frostie, my mates have some 15mm Clockwork Goblin British and Yank . I suspect they would need a re-paint job but given you can't buy them anymore you may be interested.

Any views?

I sold my Germans which include Clockwork Goblin and Forged in Battle a few years ago. Nice models!
