Right then off we go again:

Finally finished the petrol station kiosk and pumps, have some blackcat drinks machines to paint them onto the urban fencing, a few shacks and some warehouse extensions.

Then another 40+ zeds and around 20 of my survivors to paint before thursday!

Yeah like tha's gonna happen!

Keep you posted

Pumps cut folded and glued in place, kiosk mounted on 1/8 inch plasti-card, no foamboard this time, inner and outer shells stuck together with double sided tape and card glue.

Kiosk, (with toy car box clear plastic for window) mechanic zed got in the shot.

Action shot: Shaun was regretting running out of chocolate hobnobs and drawing the short straw to go to the all night petrol station on the corner!

Looking really good Vyper.  That was a great idea to use the plastic car case for the Kiosk window! :D

Very nice chief!

I spent the weekend, painting lots of Ainsty resin and plotting the next game. I'll see if I can get some pics done.

Cheers all,

Was only able to get a few pieces of fencing done last night, will post up later, (nice though!).

So...

Last night whilst watching be kind rewind, (not a great film but ok...).

Did these two urban fencing sections, got about six more to do, some again to go inbetween buildings and others a la left for dead: at the table edge/road edge to close off areas:

Various types of plasti-rod and I and H sections, mesh that I've had for a while. Not ment to be perfect but will do the job. Get em painted tonight.

Cheers

Very quickly drybrush/blended up with boltgun metal then a wet blend of camo green/beastial brown, highlighted with khemri what ever it is and a mix of sepia/dark brown citadel washes.

Came out alright I reckon, will add a few strategic hand prints on the door knob and a maybe a poster on it too.

Also did a few of Geronimo's resin barrels, (very nice Ian) and undercoated some blackcat bin bags, wheelie bins and the drinks\vending machines.

Simple, easy to paint but wanted a more realistic 'let's not do them rusty silver' look. So a mixture of drybrush boltgun and browns, greens, blues and respective citadel washes to really get the colour subtlety rather than washing em all with black and hope for the best!  :D

Tomorrow: part resin part scratchbuilt outbuilding planned and more fencing. Unfortunately no further forward on getting zeds or survivors painted though, so a little disappointed but no time at present: (finished work today at 11:40, started at 8am this morning!).

Love those fences.  What is the mesh that you are using?  Is it already rigid before you attach it to the fence frame?

Cheers
