(nice Japanese)

I can see the idea from an economical and time perspective in using smaller bases for hordes. Visually, the CD approach or 'horde trays' work a little better - but hey, in game terms 'schematic' features are effective  :)

I don't think I'm going to make fixed hordes (when I get enough zeds painted to actually do hordes), instead going for the Litko or Fenris trays. That way I can use the zeds for games with and without horde rules.

What did you use for the smaller horde bases?

60mm plastic bases from GW but have found a cheaper alternative since.

Commander,excellent as always.

Cheers. Seen your hordes but I couldn't justify using studio minis on a multi base. Mine (if I do any) a solid block of bodies, (really tight in there) padded out with plastics and doubles then a few character zeds added for some variety. But no plans as yet.

Right off to pick up my Halo Reach new xbox then back to finish some more zeds and hopefully those two damn chopper crew.

This is the route I'm thinking of going with. But I want to make my urban area first to see what my road width is going to be like.

I'd hate to miscalculate and have the streets too narrow for the CDs.

Cheers, that GW reglious fanatic head works well as a zombie moaner! ;)

Only had an hour tonight so two more painted, spyglass ltd ed zed and the chicken mascot from studio miniatures.

Three left to complete and that's twenty since the weekend, will also take the other 22 undercoated ones with me, if I can manage to find time to build a shopping mall at my mates place, I'm sure I can find time to knock out a few more zeds Fingers crossed on all counts.

There are so many Zeds here I seemed to have missed this one. Could someone point him out.

Yup that's the fella!

Well a rather disappointing weekend if I'm being totally honest. With my friend's kitchen still not completed this meant that the back living room was out of bounds and as such no room for setting up the table! :o :'(. So I got roped into painting the kitchen ceiling and walls, grouting the floor tiles etc...

We played a couple of games of space fleet and that was it. A bit pissed off really as I don't have a huge amount of time and I worked my arse off balancing everything to get this time away and some minis painted too!

Anway here's a few shots of the 17 that made it into paint:

Have a few more part paints to finish then I think I'll move back onto something non zed related for a while. I have plenty of options! ;)

I'm sorry to hear that. Though getting your relatives & friends to help with your house is a tradition in my family.
