You know zombies..... ;)

They are a little too fantasy for widespread use, good to top and tail with other kits/bits though. Been working on a few scenery pieces too so will get those up too when I get a chance.

Cheers, I think once painted they'll work well, some will be destined to a horde base I reckon at some stage.

so you are saying that the WGF ones are really poor?

The fact is much debated and counter debated here and elsewhere so I will leave it at that... suffice to say I was sent a sprue to see how bad they were......;)

Three games played last night:

i) Four man fireteam break cover and head for the choppers.
ii) Fuel run - survivors with an RV run out of gas and have to get to the petrol station on foot, start the generator and pumps, fill up the cans and get right out of dodge.
iii) Santuary - Evac site held secure by the military, about to clear out when they spot a vehicle heading to the safe zone. The occupants need to make it to the evac site themselves, the army has to hold the area, but will assist if possible.

Photos later today as I've just driven 268 miles back home today.

600 mile round trip, there were other reasons to head SE as well Warren! ;)

Pics on tonight after a well earned and rare meal out with my better half while the mum in law babysits the twins.

Very True Matt, unfortunately restaurant was freezing!  >:(

Anyway,

The three games played at the weekend were in an area of Hope's End, where the undead menance had swarmed in, allowing no time for barricades and denfenses to be put inplace, the military motorpool was overrun so no hummers etc... (i.e. Commander Stupid left the box with the crates, barricades, Jersey barriers fencing and hummers at home!!! ;))

Have been through the pictures but no chance tonight to post up sorry.

Will get round to it tomorrow.

Cheers

Me too, the mantic bits look good though, looking forward to seeing those painted as well.

Game one:

Time to move out!

i) Four man fireteam break cover and head for the choppers.

We've been stuck in this mall for what seems like weeks, things have been quiet for quite a while now, barricades have held and from the intel that we can gather, the main hordes have moved out of the sector and into the waterfront district.

It's now or never.

Ok boys, here's the plan.... Before things got flushed and went swirly, remember the news crews buzzing 'round in their choppers, being all eye in the sky and Ron Burgundy and shit? Well when two of those crews decided to get exclusive inside shots of Apartment 12 and the medical centre, guess who came back.... none of em.

So we got two choppers sitting pretty and waiting for us. We move out at first light, two man cover/fire setup.

Low and quiet people, get prepped....... I'm sick of mall coffee anyway!

Ok so things started well for our team, moving at full moves around the side of the mall, undectected by the solitary walkers milling around. A good run of red cards meant that things were looking like a cake walk.

That's when things took a bit of a turn... Troops in full kit, squeezing passed parked vehicles end up setting off the alarm!

All nearby zeds were alerted to the noise and started to move towards the source.

The troopers kept moving in pairs, taking the opportunity to take out any zeds that got too close.

They made it to the medi-centre and into the building, a run of black cards and the noise of the gunfire from the previous rounds kept the zombie moving towards the building and gave a random encounter on floor one of five zeds.

Good dice rolls took out three with headshots, the other two knocked back. Red cards took the troopers to the roof and away in the chopper.

Low zed count this one, but everyone got out alive, if the cards had turned then twe could have seen the building full of zombies and things could have been very different.

Game two later...
