Some quick questions, Commander.

Did you do any modification to the building PDFs before printing them out? Some of the PDFs have an interior section above the exterior building walls (for the folding over & making the inside and outside of the wall). Did you modify it to do away with the interior wall, to show two stories of exterior only?

Did you foamcore reinforce the roof sections of the buildings? Those diecast flying eggbeaters (helicopters) can get weighty.
Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.

No modications, only the heli pad.

All in the earlier pages Warren, I only have one interior (ground floor garage) so just separated the interior walls from the fold line. floors were pinned and supported from inside with foamcore strips.

Have a look at the first few pages, if you need anymore pointers give me a shout.

I was just curious to know if you used Photoshop, or a similar program, to copy an outside wall over the interior wall to make a 2 story section that would print on 1 page.

Might save on the paper used.

Last time on Urban Zombie Thread:

Johnson & Ramirez, headed back to begin takeoff prep, the rest of the troopers began a phased retreat as the zombies poured through the makeshift barricades and the survivors disembarked from their RV and headed for safety.

The three remaining survivors headed towards the choppers, both were prepped, fuelled and running, (nice run of red cards) although the noise of the whirly birds could be heard across the table.

Serveral black cards and the zombies were a'coming, but were too far away to get lunch on the run as it were....

A few nicely placed headshots took out the zombies that were a bit too close for comfort, and with the helos loaded, the evac point was cleared.

No cataclysmic end in this game, for once the odds were in their favour.

Dun dun da da dun dun...da da da du dun da da da...

Can it Davis!

Sorry sir!...

Well I've got a soft spot for LOTR, have a Halo project running, a stalled aliens project, Call of Cthulhu/Strange Aeons, Dark Future, Blood Bowl, Wild West, Terminator, Space fleet and Zombie Pirate Ship and crew projects to name but a few.

This'll be it for a while on the zed thread, I'll be coming back to it shortly, with some new paintjobs, some new scenery, and a few new game ideas but until then, stay safe, stay alert, aim high.

For me it's Zombies (Dead Walk Again), Star Wars, Clone Wars, Pirates (LOTHS), ,Aliens, Incursion, Warmaster, Spaceships (Fullthrust), Confrontation, Alkemy, Eden, Blood Bowl, Vietnam,  and many other projects at the same time (including writing rules and making sceneries) ....not enought time and not enough hands to paint. So yes we share more than zombies.  ;)

Well off to the South East tomorrow so my usual manic painting sessions before I go began in earnest Sunday night and continued last night and tonight.

Here's the results:

Prime Minister elect Major & bodyguards:

Downed pilot: (Westwind Vietnam Huey pilot). (Base finished now).

Hassslefree NBC's (WIP): Picked these up at salute 2010. Was aiming for reflective green, but them everybody does em in green. I went for a difference approach:

GW Foundation paints orange, a little different scheme the planned, but looking good.

Hopefully will get a few games in over the weekend so keep you posted.

After a good Salute 2011, we headed home to set up the table for a night of zombie action.

Whilst on the DLR to Canning town I had to do a double take.....there were about 15-20 zombies shambling down the side road!!!!  :o A split second panic followed by a quick scan of the area and there were the camera crew and special effects guys, we'd just gone past some prinicple photography for the new film Cockneys vs zombies!

http://www.heyuguys.co.uk/2011/04/17/dawn-of-the-brown-bread-cockneys-vs-zombies-set-pics-stumble-online/

As you can expect that really fired us up for the evening's gaming. Game report and pictures later.
