Very nice figures, but slot bases (shudder)?

Nice work as usual from the excellent Mr. Slade.

Yes the civilians are old Obelisk bought by Tsuba now sold.by Empress. The camels are from TAG , Copplestone and Irregular.

I will add some females from Victorious MiniAtures

I am hoping  others will bring out more variety of Chinese civilians!

Same here! These ones are pretty clearly Boxer-era, and while they'll do in a pinch for early 20th century, I'd love to see some proper BoB/interwar/WWII Asian civvies.

Pulp Figures/Crucible Crush have a few, but agree that more would be nice. I'd really like some for an urban setting like Shanghai.

I like those figures, but haven't bought any. Why, the pigtails. I thought after the fall of the Manchu dynasty they quickly went out of fashion, or am I wrong about that?

Yeah the pigtails are probably one thing that dates figures the most. Removing them may be easy depending on the figure though.
